CBUS Comedy Presents: Luke Capasso & Travis Irvine

As seen on MTV, BBC and ITV Luke is a storyteller, political satirist with the willingness to venture into the absurd. He approaches comedy head on and full speed ahead. With his deadpan style, Capasso’s jokes and stories encompass the trials of life as a young father, his years in the military, and his small town American roots. Luke kick­started his career on the London, UK circuit and after completing his 4th solo show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival he came back to the US. He can now he can be seen regularly performing at top Midwestern clubs, on TikTok and is a staple of the dollhouse miniature scene.

Travis Irvine is a comedian, journalist, filmmaker and unsuccessful politician. His work has been featured by the Guardian, Vice TV, HuffPost and several other outlets. Travis has written and directed two feature films about killer raccoons that are available from cult film distributors Troma Entertainment and Indican Pictures. In 2007, Travis ran for mayor of his hometown in Ohio and turned the experience into a short documentary called "American Mayor," which was featured at The Cannes Film Festival in 2010 and is available with his two other short documentaries on Vimeo On-Demand. Travis’ campaign and comedy videos have been featured on "The Jay Leno Show," PBS’s "NewsHour" and Funny Or Die, while his debut comedy album "Guy From Ohio" can be heard regularly on Sirius XM. A graduate of Columbia Journalism School and a current co-host of "Abe Lincoln's Top Hat" on The Last Podcast Network, Travis spends his time between Ohio and Los Angeles."
